2025 Election Announced
Municipal election is being held to fulfill the role of three (3) councilors. Candidate Information Highlights:
To qualify for nomination as a councilor in a summer village, a person is not required to be a resident of the summer village but must be;
- a resident in the local jurisdiction on election day, or named on a certificate of title as a person who owns property within the summer village, or is the spouse or adult interdependent partner of a person who is named on a certificate of title as a person who owns property within the summer village.
- entitled to vote in the summer village election and,
- have been a resident of Alberta for the 12 consecutive months immediately preceding election day.
